Where to Find Us
Depth work asks something of you. Getting to it should not.
Holistic Trauma Therapy® sees clients in person at two offices in Southern California and virtually throughout the state, so that the practical question of where you sit is never the reason you do not begin.
Holistic Trauma Therapy® is a depth-oriented trauma therapy practice with offices in Pasadena and Newport Beach, California, serving clients virtually throughout the state. The Pasadena office is located at 65 North Madison Avenue, Suite 707. The Newport Beach office is located at 1000 Quail Street, Suite 220. The practice is led by Chief Traumatologist Seema Sharma, SEP, LMFT, LPCC, and offers Somatic Experiencing, Holistic EMDR, parts work and IFS, and depth psychology for childhood and complex trauma, sexual trauma, and workplace trauma. In-person sessions are available at both offices. Virtual sessions are available anywhere in California.
IN-PERSON THERAPY
Our Offices
Pasadena
65 North Madison Avenue, Suite 707, Pasadena, CA 91101
Our founding office, in the heart of Pasadena, minutes from Old Pasadena and the 210 and 134 freeways. This is where the practice began and where the fullest range of in-person work happens, including somatic, parts work/ifs and EMDR sessions that some clients find land differently in a shared room. Clients come to us here from across the San Gabriel Valley and greater Los Angeles.
Newport Beach
1000 Quail Street, Suite 220, Newport Beach, CA 92660
Our Orange County office, staffed and seeing clients, serving the coastal communities and the inland cities of the county. For clients across Orange County who want the depth of this work without the drive north, this is the closer door.
TELEHEALTH THERAPY
Virtual Therapy Throughout California
Our clinicians are licensed in California and see clients virtually anywhere in the state. Trauma work is internal and relational. It asks for presence, safety, and a clinician trained to hold the deeper layers. It does not ask for a particular room. Many of our clients have never sat in either office, and the work goes just as deep. For some somatic and EMDR work, meeting in person can offer something worth having, and that is a conversation we will have together rather than a rule we apply to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. All of our clinicians see clients virtually throughout California, and many of our clients work with us entirely by secure telehealth. In-person sessions are available in Pasadena and Newport Beach for those who want them.
-
Whichever one you can get to without it becoming another thing you have to manage. Pasadena and Newport Beach both offer the full depth of our work. If neither is close, virtual sessions are a genuine option rather than a lesser one.
-
Not at this time. Our clinicians are licensed in California, and California licensure permits us to see clients located in California.
-
For most of the work we do, yes. Depth psychology, parts work, and much somatic work translate well to telehealth. Certain EMDR and somatic sessions can benefit from a shared room, and we will talk with you about what best supports your nervous system rather than deciding it for you.
